Olympus announces its highest zoom ratio lens, the M.Zuiko 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3 super telephoto zoom

One of the biggest advantages of a Micro Four Thirds camera system is that manufacturers can create lenses which offer extensive zooming capabilities while remaining compact. Olympus' newest super telephoto zoom lens, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3, is a perfect example of this. Offering a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 24-400mm, which is a 16.6x zoom ratio, the 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3 lens weighs just over a pound (455 grams) and is only 3.9 inches long (99.7 millimeters).
